Can I bring someone with me?


Applicants are encouraged to invite family members and friends to the auditions. Only the Semi-Finals in New York City are closed to the public.

What are the age requirements?


The age requirements for the each season will be 20-30 years old for all voice types.

Will a rehearsal time be provided?


Yes.

How do I get to Spivey Hall at Clayton State University?


Take I-75 South. Exit 233, Turn left at light. Go 1.4 miles. Clayton State University entrance on right, follow signs to Spivey Hall.

How do I obtain tickets to the Regional Auditions?


Tickets can be obtained through the Spivey Hall Box Office at (678) 466-4200 or www.spiveyhall.org.
The cost is $40.00.


How do I receive information about the auditions and other events sponsored by the Southeast Region?

As a district contestant, what time do I need to be at the auditions and where do I go?


You will receive a letter from your District Chairman with all the information.

At the District Auditions, what do I wear?


The attire is coat & tie for men and street-length dresses for women.

As a Regional contestant, what time do I need to be at Spivey Hall?


Be in the room back stage by 1:30.

At the Regional Auditions, what do I wear?


The attire is formal - Black tie for men and long dresses for women.

Will there be a place and time to warm up?


Yes.

Can I bring my own accompanist?


Yes, however you must let us know if you plan on bringing your own accompanist.

Will I have a time to rehearse for the Regionals?


Yes. Time will be provided Saturday morning.

Will I have an opportunity to speak with the judges about my performance?


Yes. Time will be provided after the auditions in Spivey Hall for you to meet with each judge.
